I too have been looking into WU. It's a mixed bag of reviews. Some hate it and some love it. Who knows. What is the cost of WU and are you locked in a contract?

I heard "back in the old days" trash bags with a rock inside worked well. I'll be headed back up to Maxwell next week to hunt Creole's neck of the woods. Can't wait to get back on the snows and specks.

I found an old map online for the Pond 11 blinds... Does anyone have a map with the Crescent blinds? I can't seem to find any online.

Go with lightweight and breathable. This is California. You aren't hunting in any extreme weather, and if you need to you can always add a layer. I have breathable waders and regardless of the time of year, where I'm hunting, by the time I make it to the blind, I'm soaked with sweat.

Dunno, and this is a bit of a hijack, but I love those A-5's! I have an old One from the 50's and I'm saving up for the new one. Sprig should know. Guy is like the wister guru around here.
