Probably fished Henshaw for the last time this summer last Friday...The lake is almost below the tree lines everywhere and the bite has really fallen off (11 fish)...We rarely keep bass, but this guy/girl was hooked in the gills and was bleeding profusely...When I cleaned it, I noticed how fat...

Tom, Kayaks and vessels like this aren't allowed on Henshaw...I will be able to put it in the duck boat and use it as a layout blind in the sheet water possibly...I'm actually thinking more like Spoonie Bay and the Sea.... :blush:

Next time you're up there hunting, send me a PM...I have a cousin that's a hardcore hunter that lives up that way...He might be able to give you some local knowledge...... ;)

Hi guys, NWTF San Diego Chapter meeting is next Monday (8-18) at 6:30 at the Hamburger Factory in Poway...This meeting will be mostly about the dove opener on Sept. 1st and the D-16 archery opener Sept. 6th...Lots of local knowledge...Bring the wife and kids...You don't have to be a member of...

Correct, those are euros...Real easy to tell the difference from mourning doves...In flight, white wings can look a lot like them...Starting Sept 1, it doesn't matter.... ;)
