Caught a nice cat at "The Shaw...That turned into a great catfish dinner...Beer battered cat, corn, and coleslaw....................... :yum

Waded "The Shaw" mid morning today with Phil...As you can see from the pictures, it's really shallow, but the were still a number of fish in the 2 foot of water...17 caught, 8 broke off, and lost another 5 that just came unbuttoned...Damn, fun bass hunting............... :clap:

Kevin, Probably in my lifetime (since 1954)...70-100 fish mornings...We never fished past 11:00 am...Even the last 3 trips with 57, 41, 37 fish were good, and we ended at 10:00 am.................:blush: The quality of the fish was great too...Lots of 3-5 lber's with an occasional 6-8...

Well, all good things must come to an end, but what a run we had....The lake is now only about a foot deep on the outside of the trees and still dropping fast...So, bass have moved away from most the edges...As many of you know, there's almost no structure in the lake once it starts getting this...

Hi Rusty, If you live in San Diego Co...Try attending our August NWTF monthly meeting...We really have some cool stuff for kids. As far as feed lots go...Just Google them in the IV...They're very distinctive to see on OnX...I'll try screen shotting one.... :blush:
