    CO 3rd Season Slaughter

I tried to make it "fair" chase with the warning shot. The coolest part about shooting those hammers is the oil vapor trail that follows the shot.

    WTB 30 cal hammer bullets

What weights are you looking at? I think I have some 125's, 152's, and 181's to try if you are interested. The 152's out of the WM are special. Use H4350 and get >3500 fps.

    Disappointed in the 16ers....

Put a great stalk on a spike with my 8 year old on the opener. Impressed by how well the little man kept up even though it was his first time side hilling. Fortunately the buck didn't have a fork or else I would still be sore.

    Sako S20 300 WM w/ Zeiss Scope - Sold

Selling my Sako S20 300 WM with Ziess conquest 4-16 scope for $1200. Great gun that I bought for a buddy to use on our elk hunt last year. He used it to kill a bull at 280 yards. I was going to sell him it but he ended up just buying his own right after the trip (he lives in Sacramento)...

    MagView Experience

I have heard good things with magview, but I used Ollin too. It has been great for my spotter and a little annoying with the binos, but works well.

    7mm or into 300’s

Honestly, no real cons for either...except a little more recoil for a 300 but with a muzzle brake there the difference is small. Price to shoot, etc you can get nearly the same results with the difference in about 30 grs heavier bullet for the 300 over the 7... Elk will not know the...

    Own a 6.5crd. Should I consider a 7MM?

Yeah i would agree. 7 PRC is only beneficial if you are going factory gun / factory ammo and want to kill at a long way off. You would appreciate this one!! My cow is on top! It is great to be able to get to them in a truck.

    Own a 6.5crd. Should I consider a 7MM?

I would rather go with a 22 creed or a 22 UM - put those light weight bullets over 4000 fps...

    Own a 6.5crd. Should I consider a 7MM?

I feel that right now! I figured a year of sacrifice for long term benefit is worth it and who knows...maybe I will be able to sneak away for a short cow hunt.
