Side by side opinions

Any recommendations between the Can-am Defender XT HD10/11 or the Kawasaki Mule Pro FXR 1000?

There are more aftermarket upgrades for the defender, but you can't go wrong with either. I have seen both extremely abused and keep going strong.

Defender seats might be a little more comfortable but I would say get the one you get a better deal on.

2.5 Suspension lift on my 570crew...28/10/14...it's been some places... Including being rear ended on the freeway while towing behind the great white buffalo..(R.I.P OLD GAL) totaled my truck and trailer ..the ranger survived ..insurance replaced some parts..wanted to total it after .. as we found out the frame was bent by exactly 1 inch...they wanted to give me pennys on the dollar and make me turn it in to salvage..I told them to pound sand...pay me anyway and I'm gonna keep it ..note to self...always max out your accessory coverage ...I had way more in extras than than I did in coverage ..fast forward ..ranger running. Strong...no other issues noted other than doors won't fit correctly...(Those are new in box and for sale for those that are interested) There is a thread up in the for sale section here in SCH

Jake so with some upgraded A arms and shocks you think a Ranger or Defender would be good to go. I've had rangers in some S&^% too its just that my whiplash was a little less with the Razor and Commander suspension.

Maybe I need to start bringing down the work rigs too you so we can talk more.

Hatch did you do the A arms, shocks , and springs. You can find some good deals on Ranger crews and I was thinking one of these with some suspension upgrades as an option.

I did!! I did the super ATV control arms .they pushed the tires out away from wheel well and raised abit...also did marshal motors lift kit...super easy to install...chris the owner actually got on a zoom with me and walked my ignorant ass thru the install..super cool dude! Then ended up going with the terra wheels and tires ...package deal off Amazon...did roof and windshield front and back...light bar and back lights...then mounted a blue tooth speaker and it's pimped now!!

You can take the stock shocks to shop like SDG and have them rebuilt / softened. Shock valving / stiffness will dramatically change that feel.

Love my General. High arc arms with 4” portals, 32” tires. 18” of ground clearance.
I’ve had 2 elk in it. Play with the guys in the razors. Climbed some pretty sketchy hills in New Mexico. Run the beach in Mexico.
