The next NWTF monthly meeting is tomorrow, Monday Oct 20th at the Hamburger Factory in Poway. Start time is 6:30 pm but many show up sooner than that to shoot the breeze.
No need to be a member! We are talking everything fall hunting.
How are we missing the point? I spent more days helping other turkey hunters this year than I did hunt them myself. Many of us here devote tremendous amounts of our own finite time, money and resources helping those communities.

Hey, thats an idea! Since were talking about "my truth" and I help a lot of newer hunters, I wonder if I can identify as a hunt-ed instructor and apply for those tags?
I'd say good enough this close to hunting season. Even if the bullet impacts further from your aim point than you like, it will still pound em. I've never shot any local deer with anything bigger than a 270 or 6.5 and the deer hardly make it anywhere.
I wasn't so much touching on the ammo itself (I know that was mentioned, I am unsure if that is true, maybe someone else knows?) but more so the cartridge design. Lack of belt, higher BC bullets, ect... that leads to a more likley outcome the bullet hits where you want it.

Thanks!
It has been shown that even small environmental patterns can have significant effects. This is outlined pretty well in some of the behavioral books - Duhig / Clear. Another book I read (I forget the author) showed how small invisible changes can literally swing an election. Ballot...
No need to make it personal, especially if you don't know your audience. We're all trying for a better future.
PS: I am currently pursuing a Masters and my Wife a PhD, we are both almost done - she also teaches and I get to hunt A LOT.
