I think you'll be just fine with the mechanical. If you want some fixed heads for backup or to try, I've got some Muzzy Trocars here in Poway you are welcome to use. I've found the offset design (like your arrow vanes, not like the other muzzy's) make them extremely accurate for a fixed head.

I decided to skip the turkey opener last weekend due to the weather and pressure but I went out Monday after lunch. I end up getting to the spot right after a mid-day shower and immediately spotted a hen drying out which was a good sign. Shortly after I start to hear gobbles. Game time...
