He turned 13 before last season started. Lots of energy when we're hunting but he'd rather go in his crate than have a photo shoot after. I always have him facing the sun too so he squints in the pics. He's a big fan of caked mud, my wife not so much.

I'm happy to help lol. I think you may have been the first one I heard use the term mud pigeon to disparage ducks back in the TOF days. I used once myself and knew it had to become my new screen name.

Seeing this pic reminded me of when I was road hunting with my buddy in different trucks looking to geese. We saw in an alfalfa field from a distance what we thought were snows and we almost drove over to put a stalk on but at the last moment I noticed the blinds and some hunters. We fell for the decoys
