2014 Annual Archery Deer/Elk Hunt - One of the best ever.

Well what a hunt this year’s annual Utah archery/elk hunt indeed up being. We had everything from getting are fifth choice to having to switch to a new area being the roads where washed out but once we got are tent city up it was time to hit the woods and the woods did not disappoint. We had days of seeing hundreds of elk and plenty of nice bucks, they were a mile deep in each canyon but it was on.

We had a great week with three deer and two spike elk in camp (one spike being killed a hundred yards behind camp). Along with a good hunt every creek and pond was full of trout and we made the best of it. Can’t wait till next year, Good Hunting to all of you this year. Peace.

Sounds like an amazing trip Mike. So awesome to see the quality time you get to spend with Justin, memories that will last a life time. I can't wait to create these types of memories with my boys in a few years. Matthew turns 10 next July and then it's on!

very cool, I love hunting out of state and miss it as soon as I get back. Lately every three years for me and my familys that hunts we go which means this next year looks like I am going out of state .
