Finally got my personal best a 4 or 5 lber today not big but I only started bass fishing last spring after fishing on the ocean my whole life. I got him at a local pond I first started fishing at that was down 5 feet or so. Also the fish would have been a few pounds bigger if their was no drought.

Congrats on your best"........Just the fact you have a pond with that much water is a miracle.......Almost all my ponds are dry or very close.

Looking at the pictures again I think the fish is more around 3lbs. The thing had the mouth of a 5 tho

This pond will be dry soon I think unless we get a lot of rain. This is at a county park and they stopped putting water in it a month ago and the water has gone down a foot already

Okay. I lied. Here is a 5 lber my buddy caught last weekend on my boat. Bite last weekend was shallow for us. Caught a few bed fish. Cruised in the boat because the weather was so nice as well.

The average size at this lake has been awesome. Early summer will be a blast.
