2024 Whitetail Extravaganza (Semi-Live)

Ed,

If you were in range of the 1st guy...I think I would've been hard pressed not to let one fly....Just not big enough, 120-130ish?...............

ps...I know nothing about scoring deer.....:worried:

pss....Are those turkeys I hear in the background?.............

That's funny that you'd be the one to hear turkeys in the background... lots of turkeys here. The two bucks in the videos I do not regret not shooting.... 120ish. All under 25 yards. The 10 point that I did not get pics of was pushing 140... I'll let you know later if I regret passing him. There are much bigger bucks here... Whoppers will start showing themselves this week. Rained all night. Sat in a different stand today. Right at dark I had 4 does and a 10 point work past me at 30 yards... in the thick stuff. I had a few openings but didn't feel comfortable taking the shot. I was real bummed. Not full rut yet... he was grunting and following. Wind changes tomorrow and it's marginal for this same stand. I'm going to make a game day decision in the morning... deep into the brown right now... stand by. Ed F

Very slow day for all 3 of us. I grunted my first whitetail in... 8 pointer right under my stand. The wind was bad all day... that's what I'm blaming it on. The wind is changing tomorrow... heading back to where I passed that 10 when I first got here. He's in trouble if he shows himself. Ed F20241104_105153.jpg

Just rolled the chicken bones and did some light chanting and a little dance. You got this amigo. FINISH!!!

I had a bad day yesterday... I lost the fob to my truck when I was walking in the dark to my stand. This new to me truck has no keys... just a fob. Totally my fault for not having a backup. Had to have it towed 60 miles to a dealership this morning... fuk. Please don't ask stupid questions... At least I didn't run over my bow. Then to top it off all I saw was one doe all day.

Being the optimist that I am, I made it to a stand for the afternoon sit. I just had a good 8 with a couple stickers run right past me with his tongue hanging out. I'm hoping he got his ass kicked and the winner is in the woods behind me. Almost prime time... stand by... Ed F1000002801.jpg

At least you didn't run over your bow, sorry I couldn't resits. But we are expecting a big basted with your arrow in it.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice something so the big buck comes in what’s a key fob matter if a 180 comes trotting through

I'm not sure how things work now, but several years back we were in the desert and my friend locked his truck with the keys and Fob combo in it. He had Onstar, he made a call and once they were able to verify he was indeed the owner, somehow they sent a signal and unlocked his truck. It was focking magic.
