Took the boys and my father inlaw up in the mountains today to get some rabbits. Didn't get any rabbits but did get into some big flocks of Dove took three down. It was fun jump shooting dove. Shooting dove in town has something rewarding about it. Almost stepped on a good size Rosie Boa the boys played with it for a little bit then sent it on its way.
Got the dog retrieving the birds when I got home. She is going to be a beast at 12 weeks she retrieves well and had no problem with feathers in her mouth. Put the wings in the freezer she is in full gun dog training mode now.
Itwas another great day out with the boys blessed to be able to have them enjoy my passion.
