We are celebrating our trip tonight with:

Cheesy sour cream scalloped potatoes
Steamed brown sugar baby carrots
On the smoker is a prime aged beef brisket and a couple of very fat pork butts. KC is using the smoker he took second place with in the NM barbeque cook off!

Should be awesome!

was this a guided hunt? if so with who?
was this draw for the tags
also how long in advance did you guys plan this trip.
cost for tags & what not.

I would like to plan a trip like that in my near future for muley & elk.
I might be up there next month.
any tips would be appreciated.

Picked up over a half ton of elk last night and on our way home this morning.
On the way to pick up the meat last night we were blessed with one last show.
