He was mid way up the mountain and I drug him down to the wash where my dad could get a photo

Great Coues buck. A pretty “straight eight” as they call them in the whitetail world. How many days did you guys hunt?

Yea that’s what I call my whitetail, I’d call him an 8 pt.... 6pt for a muley. Well I hunted 5 days looking for one deer in particular, only saw him once before he disappeared. The hunt was pretty slow overall. Once the weekend hunters were gone deer activity picked up a bit

Awesome! Still on my bucket list for sure. Had some coues sightings on my archery hunt this year. Though to hunt though. They sure like catclaw
