BELATED Spring Turkey report - Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I am very thankful for my family and our double Spring turkeys this year.

Thorough scouting paid off. I roosted them the night before the opener. The following morning was nasty, cold and wet. I took a Jake that Saturday morning. On Monday evening, and in much fairer weather, tried again and I bagged a Tom.

Thanks @ilovesprig for giving us these beautiful birds to enjoy.

By the way, my fall turkey is a Jennie-O!

We waited until today to hang the tail and beard. I saved the feet as well. Trying to decide how to best display.
