I'm not a high-end camo guy, but I did splurge on the Kuiu bino harness and don't regret it. Mostly, because it opens top-down and it much easier to remove the binos.
Rick Young... I use my binoculars and don't like a backpack on my chest... that's how I roll. Ed F
Thanks, I will take a look. I have also been looking at the Vortex Glass Pak Binocular Harness. Not sure about the pros and cons of each or even what to look for other than quiet.
Thanks. I had to do some research on these. Definitely a good option from the minimalist, warm weather, ultralight hunter. Seems like there could be some pros and cons like all day comfort, speed of deployment, may require two hands?
How many times do you see a critter for just seconds? Ain't happening when you have to unpack your binos. This and ease of use are the two biggest positives. I hunt with guys that have the chest packs and I'm quicker and use my binos more often than them. If the argument is to protect your investment... leave them at home. Just my preference... Ed F

I personally don't like the binos bouncing around when I hike or hanging loose when I bend over / go through brush. Another positive about it is that I don't need to "unhook" or take them off when using my tripod. Because of that I gladly take an extra second to flip open an magnetic lid.
I have a bushnell elastic one I got at a garage sale for 1$ , don’t like having to open anything to get binos out.
To each their own... Mine don't bounce or hang down. I don't have to unhook to use them on a tripod... but the Rick Young does unhook in about a second and you can leave the strap on your shoulders. The biggest thing to me is that I don't like having the pack on my chest and back. My preference.... Ed F
My favorite bino harness is the Alaska Guide Creations bino harness. I switched to a Kuiu harness last season and I don't like it as much as the AGC.

Mine don't bounce or drop when I lean over, always on my chest with one hand if needed. And my range finder is zip tied to my upper strap.
I really like there setup, if you crank it down it holds you very steady when glassing.
