Hellz to the EFF yes they do! Man.. all the haterade that got thrown my way when I rpoudly posted-up the pic of my first deer. Sheeeeiiit. Then... I kid you not... a matter of DAYS later... a friend from highschool... posts up a picture of their take from a sport fishing boat. They got into YellowFins and Bluefins Tuna. PRetty dang big too. Deck of the ship in the background, all bloody. Easily like 5 times the weight of my deer in catch.
And all the replies?
"So when are you inviting us over for Sushi?" and all sorts of other various verbal high-fives.
Man... I've never been so mad in my life at the hypocritical BS!
Also, from all the hunter hate, that's why I don't have any markings or indication or anything on the outside of my vehicle.
Two Reasons:
1) Anti-hunters will EFF with your vehicle and vandalize it.
2) Thieves will assume you have firearms or ammo in the vehicle and break into it for that or other hunting-related gear.

Ask @DanSanDiego about it... he got confronted by a guy who was pretty worked up about the same thing apparently. Could be the same guy. Dan checked the easement records and it's public access.

[That place] was added to the National Forest in February 2018. In March 2018 I went to the Ranger's office and asked about it. They gave me a 1 page map of it and highlighted where it could be accessed. I immediately went to there that afternoon, took several photos and emailed them to the Rangers saying how great this addition was for the National Forest. However, by the time deer archery season opened at the beginning of September someone had convinced the Rangers to stop allowing people to use the easement. So I didn't go there anymore.
For deer rifle season I found a rental cabin on the entrance road and before renting it I asked if I would be able to access [that place] to hunt during a 3 night rental. The owners said yes and that they enjoyed having hunters rent their cabin (this is all documented through VRBO.com and I'm sure it would have helped me if a trespass issue had occured).

i looked at the easement locations and i cant plot the coordinated they have. coulkd anyone help?
thanks for ther information. i read the deed and just having trouble plotting these easement points. anyone wanna take a crack at this?

I know exactly where the easement is and it’s marked with survey stakes which are labeled Easement 40’
However, we need to work through the Rangers because they own the easement and the nearby land owners must be challenging it.
I’ll say that my 4 day experience there (with my family) in the rented cabin caused me to lose trust in everyone and anyone. The cabin owners who had been so nice may have set me up, or maybe the guy didn’t like the fact that they rented their cabin next door to him. I even questioned whether the Rangers were some how involved even though I had been speaking to them regularly and offering to volunteer. My family didn’t notice anything was unusual (which I was glad about because this was a vacation in Thanksgiving week) until Phil swerved his truck at our truck while we were returning from eating at Mother’s Kitchen (I wish I had a dash cam). But after leaving the cabin rental I haven’t looked back and won’t be going near there without a Ranger by my side.

the rangers know him. i gave him his name and number and told them i saw tracks and a trail from his property.
That... is called... Assault with a Deadly Weapon, And, Imminent Threat to Life and Limb. (Especially with your damn family all up in the car!) You could have killed his stupid @$$, and been within your rights to do so.

Well This was on my list of scouting spots but I might want to wait until this is resolved. I pinned it up in ONX a few weeks ago and was planning on checking it out with another guy on this site last weekend but the rain prevented us. Glad to hear it is so easy to access and the landowners are so great to work with. Might want to pull the name out of your post though before every Tom dick and Harry goes up there.
Dude why would you post a screenshot like that in the internet. Did you read my whole post. Not to mention you corner hopped and trespassed according to your track I suggest deleting the name of this area and this screenshot. Trust no one when it comes to spots especially the internet.
