Debating on leasing some property up here for hunting, Year around access, and only i and whomever i decide can have access.
High population of Elk, Black Bear, turkey, and Black tail. with the occasional cougar.
Looking at 1 year, 600 Acres for $2k 1.5 hours from home.

I figure if i can get 2 guys in there with me to split up the seasons it may be worth it.

Can you draw an elk tag yearly in that area? Only been in OR once , but some zones are not able to draw yearly (even for a resident)

Well so much for that idea. We on sale at 0700 this morning, I proceeded with the lease and guess someone else's mouse finger is faster than mine.
Small chance it can become available again in 3 days but doubt it.
Going to keep an eye out for other properties in the future.

Still managed to get out at scout some deer. Jumped a good size buck that didn't see me, Once he left I set a camera up in the area i saw him go... Saw a total of 13 deer only 2 were bucks, hoping that changes once October comes around.
