Chukar & Quail Opener 2024

Great pics! Congrats on the super tough chukars.

Had only a small window before heading back to the PNW this afternoon. Got up early and went to the closest spot I could think of, near Cajon Pass. Hunted from daybreak until 8:30 am and saw no birds. So I'm at the car, boots off, gun back in its case, and a covey of about ten quail come gliding in right over my head. Doh!! Could’ve caught em with a fish net. Pretty sure I heard them laughing at me

Steve thanks for going with us had a great time I thought we were going to be done early the way it started but anyway I even see a chukar out hunting I consider it a win
