well if a deer has a collar it's probably some ones pet. I would pass. just because there is plenty of other deer out there.

Unless you're joking...DFW radio's and collars a number of deer in SD Co...I know VID property & San Felipe W.A. have them.

Hey Steve I am naive did not know they where collaring deer in wild life areas. the deer in Laguna have not seen any collars but have not there in two years.

One of my biologist friends did a deer study over on VID (Fink Rd.) a number of years back...Bucks rarely moved more than a mile from where they were captured...And then it was mostly during the rut...Also, most their time on a daily basis was spent in thick chaparral, only moving in the dark to water or feed.
