Covid hunting closures......

The machine shop that builds product for me had a guy show up sick to work. They had three guys test positive with the blood test. I am in there twice a week and I was in there the morning they found out. After getting the nasal swab the results came back one positive, one negative, and one guy had the antibodies and more than likely had it in April or May he had no idea. I got tested and stayed home for a few days since me and the positive guy were closely working for a month. I tested negative. In that 2,500 sq ft shop there are 7 employees but it didn't spread to every one. My good friend who owns the place tested negative as well and he is in contact with his guys every single day. Moral of the story I have no idea what to believe anymore.

It is very real but it is also very politicized. I am respectful, I wear masks, and I follow all the rules. But I will not stop hunting and I will be dammed if I wont socially distance at church while bars, restaurants, and gyms are open. Also doesn't get much more socially distant than a 110 degree dove field in the IV. I cant think of a place much safer.

CA hates Christians and they hate hunters. They will take every opportunity they can to oppress both. If you give them an inch they will take you a mile.

Lets protect the vulnerable. Lets be respectful. But lets do this while not crushing businesses and ruining peoples life work. The debt we are leaving for our children's children is going to catch up to us at some point. Money is not free and we are allowing the government to fear us into socialism it will get to a point where we have no choice.

This is spot on

I am totally over the mask bull.... This is INSANITY! I just don't see any push back and that is what is frustrating the most...

Not only do you and will you not see push back , our government has found yet another way to devide the people , THE MASK ! 45 days ago unless it was a medical grade mask you were told "useless" even the the supreme DR Fauci called it symbolic , now its becoming a way of life , very , very sad. Some people are clinging onto the mask like a 3 year old to a security blanket. And please don't use the MASK as a fashion statment , don't wear your favorite team or nascar driver , no fish , or deer , good grief ! As for "social distancing " I've done that my entire life but I call it personal space .

Make you own decisions , be smart , but don't lay down.

I won't side with any comments here I would just say look at the science and use common sense when you make decisions about exposing yourself to a real thing that exists

Which science? The half of the medical professionals that say that masks are ineffective and cause more harm to the wearer than good, or the half of the doctors that say that mask are ineffective in preventing you from getting it but may help prevent the spread?
Which half should we believe, especially since these same people stating the "science" have flip flopped more than a time or two.

I wear masks in public out of being polite to other people but I would not wear one on the regular for a prolonged period of time. Also I have noticed that a good percentage of people wearing masks don't even cover their nose which makes that mask ineffective lol.

I get it if you are over 70 or are obese or have serious respiratory issues you need to be very careful as the rona is hard on these people but the rest of the population it has shown not to be any where near as dangerous as originally reported, in fact based on numbers I saw a graph showing that the common flu was actually more deadly to young children.

Even though I quoted a response I wasn't directing my statements at that person just using it for reference of how much conflicting "science" is out there.

....here it is.... I have been want to post this infor:
The pore size of cloth face coverings range from ~ 20-100 microns. The Covid virus is 200-1000x smaller than that, at 0.1 microns. Putting up a chain link fence will not keep out a mosquito. Even the most esteemed medical journals admit their purpose is to calm anxiety. “Expanded masking protocols’ greatest contribution may be to reduce the transmission of anxiety …”
