so basically it's all closed?
Yep. My friend and I were headed up there to hunt the east side which was still open. He got there first and was told the entire San Bernardino National Forest is now closed until November 30. I drove through the Line Fire area via 18 and there was ZERO fire. In fact, it was pouring rain. To me, and this is my opinion only, this is complete and utter horse****. There is ZERO need to close anything, much less everything. I feel really badly for all you guys with D14 tags. I'm pissed because all my scouting for AO was wasted. No idea what I'll do now for the rest of AO, may I'll hit some old D16 spots . . .

The region is already stretched so thin on resources currently. They have to close in attempt to prevent any further incidents, rescues etc due resource allocation. Yeah sucks I have 14 tag as well, what can you do but be thankful for resources which are doing their job currently to preserve what they can.
