D16 and waterfowl open on same day

I heard that the waterfowl opener got pushed back a week and now it’s the same day as D16 opens. How will that affect things this year? Fewer deer hunters on opening weekend, fewer water fowl hunters on opening weekend, or ?
Someone even mentioned a rifle shotgun combo they might bring out that weekend.

I’m not an expert by any means, so please verify but I think this means waterfowl opens 10/24 in all of SoCal (and 10/23 in Colorado river zone).

Now that's an opener strap. Trade out most of those greenheads for teal and spoondogs and that's more like how my openers are.
