How about your decoy setup, in the field, behind you, in front of you, in between hunters, I got no clue? Any help would be appreciated!

Put them on a barbed wire fence with no backdrop and they stand out and really work wonders. I like dead trees too. If you do put them in trees find a branch that sticks out. For me, if the deeks are buried in a tree with lots of foliage, they don't do a whole heck of a lot.

Sound advice.........Get yourself an old Christmas tree stand and a good horizontal limbed tree (manzanita works good)......Cut it flat on the bottom and put it out in the open area of a field (corners are best...... ......See pic.
.
Sweet.. might try that. Hopefully my clip ons will sit well on the wire. I usually stick em on the hay bales or nearby trees but I need a DIY setup like that if I hunt the open fields.ilovesprig said:Jason,
Another real easy set-up is taking to 2 metal fencing posts and string a strand of wire between them (the more you use the more it looks like a fence row)......Clip decoys to connecting wire.....Feather-Flex dove decoys are best because they basically weigh nothing.....Sorry can't find any pix of mine.
