Dove reports?

Blythe was pretty good. 4 of us got limits. My 8 year old son had his first hunt and got his first kill. He only got one but it was a huge accomplishment for him and I. He was at it all day and finally one came in to the mojo and missed his first shot then dropped on the second. Proud dad moment for sure.
What did I miss?
How did you guys do?

I'll be out in the IV for closing weekend on Saturday. Since all of the LA/OC area D Zones have burned down this week, it looks like I'll be waiting on waterfowl at the end of October.

Headed out Saturday!

kevin,

The vehicle was parked about 70 yds from me...I needed one more bird...Josh was done...#15 comes winging in, but is crossing from right to left in front of the car...It was real low to the ground and I let it pass by at about 20 yds...I shoot and #15 goes down...Josh standing beside me says, "I think you just shot out your back window"...Sure enough, I could see it gone...There are only 2 other marks on the side near that window...Just goes to show, that even a small #7 pellet has enough zip to do damage...I guess they were flyers.......

ps....#15 was an expensive dove...$375.00..........:joy:
UMM NO COMMENT LMFAO
