it depends how far the birds are flying in my book. I use mod choke, but My first shotty was a full choke.
it worked, help improve my accuracy. I now know improved cyl, or mod choke is recommended.
I edited to clarify for quail & dove.
certainly full choke for turkey.

Depends really... I use mod for most applications including trap. I'll break out the full or even XF for certain things like bandtails or turkey. IC works for me on quail though.

Modified 90% of the time.....Only exception is band-tails (full) & Jellyhead for turkeys.....In my guns, modified is best with steel for ducks as well.
