Good luck everyone go out opening day of dove this year all be safe. Well here in southern Utah we got hit with much need rain all of last week here . Very few dove here check out few of my spots that normally hold find couple bird in good luck tomorrow everyone

Started off real slow, but hung with them.................................

It was a great morning. Weather was nice not extremely hot. A little wind in the air. We shot a couple extra euros. Glad the season is here fellas

Slow start for me too but became steady singles and doubles every 15-20 mins or so. Had to leave at 8am and finished with 10.. they were still flying. Came home and made poppers and ribs.. kids favorite.

Ended up with 10 mourning dove and 5 Euros for myself.
My 14 year old ended up with 6.

We hunted from sun up to about 9 then took about a 5 hour break and started hunting again around 2 at a different spot.

It seemed a little slow but I’m also semi new to this so I am trying to figure out what’s slow and what’s not. 1 or 2 birds would fly by every 15 mins or so. My mojo decoys seemed to work well if birds were around.

Overall awesome day, super proud of my boy and he came home with a huge smile. Can’t go wrong

We had a good day as well. It was a steady pick with birds flying throughout the morning. The morning breeze definitely helped with the Valley heat. Ended with a limit and had fun with friends and my dog.
