Goose opener

Had a #35 ressie for 11/6 which happened to be goose opener. Being more of a duck guy and not having any goose expertise, I linked up with buddy Hunter and he got us set up on a dry field with his trailer of full body dekes. The geese were all in the club behind us about 200 yards but at shoot time they were comfortable in there and slow to get up. We had some flights but the geese were shy and flaring our setup. Was mostly slow but did take a few shots. Kudos to him he called his ass off since I don't know WTF I'm doing! Had fun though.

Lol we actually passed on quite a bit and I was the one giving him a hard time (mostly joking) that we should've shot the high flyers. These specks flew by his side of the blind and I urged him to shoot even though it was far and he connected on one. Must've been like 85 yards lol.

Fun stuff. Pretty crazy how smart those birds are. They know the right height to fly and what routes to take.
