Band-tail ended yesterday and this season was very good...Despite only being allowed 2...These sum bitches are tough to get...90% of the shots are at max range and they're hauling ass...Love these mountain pigeons..........

I shot my new 20 gauge, Benelli M-2, Rob Roberts special edition, NWTF Gun of the Year...It didn't miss.............................

ps...Coley is a life saver in these steep mountains and poison oak....................;)

Very nice. GJ. Definitely a tough one to get. They usually roost up high too. From all the ones I've seen when deer hunting. Not a bird everyone goes after. I'm impressed.

That’s a satisfying hunt Steve. Saw quite a few up here in OR, but when the season was open, they were awol. Thought for sure I was gonna get em.

Kevin,

Barely saw any before the season...When the bell rang, we had flocks 50+...And, even with flocks of that size...2 were tough to get...Such a great tradition............

And you get to hunt them up high in beautiful places too.
