These guys keep roaming around in daylight. Usually together. Look like they are eating pretty well. Mt. Laguna.

someone need to make a lion sighting facebook page or website so some kind of documentation can be taken and maybe it can be used in the future.
See them every year. All over SD county. Don't think # studies would do any good with the liberal emotional thinkers in Sacramento....such pretty cats and they were here first. Unfortunately it will take a couple of young kids being drug out of backyards or campgrounds to sway their irrational "love" for the cute kitties.
Thats not gonna be enough... happened earlier this year... cat came out and snatched a kid while the kid was walking with family. Dad was able to get kid away. I read game wardens came out to investigate and cat showed up again and showed no fear. They put it down.
Oh yeah! That's right! I remember that. Somebody posted the link on this forum.
But, you know, they'd be all like "Well.. you know dear, you ARE walking in *their* home after all." you know how it goes. Pssh.

And to think you can only be out there with a bow...those are some big cats!
Only thing I worry about with these cats is them pushing the deer out of an area. Attacking you would be quite rare.
