I'm unclear as to how he is reaching a figure of 12% of the state population having the virus. Only six minutes in but is he taking the percentage of those that tested positive and then applying that percentage to the state as a whole? If so that is clearly a flawed way to make an estimate unless all of the people tested were random, which they're not.
Mean while , the golf courses opened first ( big money drives golf , law makers play golf) , the parks opened or are opening , the beaches opened , I believe the beaches were just too hard to control and no one wanted a riot on their hands , so our majestic leaders are letting us go out a play a little , just a little but they don't think it's time to actually go to work ??

What this whole thing has taught me...this is no longer "The land of the free and the home of the brave" There will never be a place like the USA again or ever...its a damn shame. Interesting take, but comparing death rate to the flu? Idiotic? Ha ha. Once we can test everybody and find out how many millions of people had this thing without any symptoms, the death rate here is going to be very small, and in my opinion not worth the damage that has been done to our lives and our country as a result.
His 'extrapolation of data' where is claiming the percentage of positive test results will corilate to the percentage of infected in the total population is total BS and he knows this.
Bottom line is that the numbers are NOT adding up , the original preojections were and are wayyyy off , and it has very little to do with everyone hiding under their beds.

And now the polls are starting , 77% of Los Angeles believes they should continue to shelter in place , but they need another check , thats great ! I have several issues with this , one who was polled ? 2nd , The majority of the population are happy to be taken care of. Again this will continue until public opinion changes !

Ok. To be clear, I’m not making an argument for anyone. I’m just pointing out that these quacks have been discredited by the greater medical community. My education is in western medicine. I believe in science and the work we do in hospitals and labs around the country. My post has to do with that conviction alone.
Case fatality rate? Infection fatality rate? As I have said before, we won’t have a final mortality rate until this is over. There is some new data out of New York that gives us an estimate but you can’t really calculate that while the virus is still spreading and people are still dying.
