This country would kill the average ducker for sure...no truck access...thank goodness for a 19 year old linebacker to make the trek!!! The altitude is no joke for a flatlander...ughh ..my lungs are still retracting from days of below freezing expansion...

Looks like elk country. Just find the most miserable spot you can think of and go a little deeper that’s where you find him. Post him when you kill him.

Dudes...im tellin ya..late season bull is menacing! After the cut and stuff up in the blow downs miles from the truck!!!! We had to think twice about shooting another!!!!ha!! Nah....had we seen another..he would have got the bullet...tuff hunt for sure...but rewarding in many ways....boy #2 got to experience a hell hike with a hind quarter and head and antlers...the weight was crushing...he did not bitch and actually said it was light work!!!!! I documented it and carried the empty water bottles...i also started the fire when we got back and handed out cold beers...im a giver!! I hate elk hunting.

HORN porn for sure. Glad to see you did your part with the water bottles and fire, I mean what do they expect that far from the truck.
