Meant to post this last week but hey better late than never.@JohnnyB and I both hunted opener for the first time in the IV. We got to a new spot about 15 minutes before shooting light, set up the Mojos, and waited. First shot out of my brand new Stoeger M3000 that I just picked up the day before was a killshot! After getting about half our limits we picked up and relocated on a field adjacent to us and finished up by mid morning. After that we decided to try our luck at a little fishing along the canals for as long as we could in 104 degree temps. Was super stoked to get my first limit with my first white wing!
Also, we learned that Mojos attrack more than just doves out on public fields which led to us getting peppered for the first time.
Still, one of my highlights of the year with many firsts with a great hunting buddy!
