Wishing all a Merry Christmas and a productive new year. I hope everyone gets a buck, bull, doe, cow, duck, goose, quail, pig, dove, grouse, sheep, or critters of choice. GDL
The amount of ducks I have seen flying over Buena Park/La Habra/Fullerton/Los Angeles/Downey/etc (all the places I live near) is out of control lately. Im gunna need you to NOT take christmas off, and go thin that population. ThanksThis message is for the ducks.
You might be safe this weekend. With Xmas falling on Sat I will let you rest. Do not think you will be so safe on new years.
I am comming for you

Funny how that works. When I first learned how to fly an airplane I looked up everytime one went over (still do). Then I was mentored on how to waterfowl hunt and still can't keep from looking up when I hear a wing beat, call or motion that draws my eye. After that I started to go to the local marsh's on the coast where I lived and sitting with binos and identifying birds. You are on a dead end street with being overcome with this calling. I hope your wife or girl friend can hang on. I lost many to the obsession...The amount of ducks I have seen flying over Buena Park/La Habra/Fullerton/Los Angeles/Downey/etc (all the places I live near) is out of control lately. Ya know...I dont have THAT much desire for waterfowl hunting tbh. Something about standing around in a marsh just...doesnt appeal to me much. If I was invited by some dudes, yeah Id probably go, but it wouldnt be my first choice. I like the mountains much more...hoping to at least spot a buck on public land this coming year.Funny how that works. Snort it a couple more times and you will be done ..... Their is more to it than the bird. It is a team sport and when you connect with the right partners it's all over.. I was raised hunting deer in the Sierra's, Nevada, and the A zone...Upland was a stable as well...Then in 1969, my old buddy Larry Anderson took me duck hunting at Huntington Beach (the old Bolsa Chica Duck Club)...Been hooked ever since...

Goes to prove, you don't need all the fancy expensive gear to kill ducks. But the hat is a must, why do I think you still have It.."Larry" G. Anderson?....................
