My daughter got her 3rd buck in 4 years. We sit in a two man ladder stand on a ridge and the deer walk down in the evenings and up in the morning. We didn't see this guy until he was directly below us. She waited until he got out in front of us a bit and turned broadside before heart shooting him with the .223 copper. The buck happen to jump right in front of my game cam and I got a gnarly picture of him midair with blood pumping out. She's pretty happy with him and now it's my nieces turn. Still more forkys running around. Last night we had a lion come in on camera, probably attracted by the gut pile.
