Hey everyone, I just got my first turkey gun. Second shotgun I’ve owned but this is the only shotgun I own now. My dad bought it for me as a wedding/ birthday gift so I’m really excited to get it out this fall And spring season. Has anyone had any experience with this shotgun before?

I have the 835 in 3.5" . I put in the undertaker choke. I'll tell u one thing for sure, shoot the 3.5 mag. Load and get ready for mule kick.

Great turkey gun and should be good for fowl too.

3 1/2" will rock your world, but no need for them these days...Buy some TSS turkey loads in 3", # 7's or 9's....Killer load for turkeys.

Dude....both are great!! Im a fall turkey fan more so do to the fact i get to see my boys lay mahhem on those birds!! Deer with the bow is hard to beat though!! Like stevo says..no need for the big loads..boys do um consistently with 7,s...out of the 870...

Ill have to grab some of those loads too. I got a Hevi Shot turkey magnum blend and a few others. I did grab two new chokes because the stock one actually says not to use with anything but lead shot.

3" Hevi-Shot 5,6,7 is good stuff too...I shoot mine thru a Primos Jellyhead.

I’m hoping 2020 will be the year I get my first bird and first deer. I got my stand tree marked out and have had a lot of action over the last 1.5 years on the camera I put up there. Only one or two bucks but if all these doe keep moving through I have to imagine the boys will be moving wherever the ladies are come the rut?
