Took Otto out for the youth hunt Saturday to my very best spot...It was complete gobblefest and this guy flew down 50 yds from us...Otto said he was a longbeard...I said, I can't see $hit at 5:36 am, but if you say he is...Whack, if you get the chance,,,,

The bird goes into strut and strolls right into the decoys...Kaboom!... And, down he goes...Otto runs down and picks him up...Right then, I knew something was awry...As Otto comes back up the hill, I could hear it in voice....It's a jake...

Despite not being the bird he wanted, it was a fine bird for eating and hey, now we could go fishing at "The Shaw"....

I remember my old buddy Cal, many years ago, introducing me to skinnies when he was kicking my ass at El Cap...Now, they have been my go to most anywhere I bass fish....

ps...Just read an article naming the 30 greatest fishing lures of all-time...Senko's #1

I would agree with the #1 rating. The ability to fish weedless from top to bottom of the water is so effective.
