I had a friend get a limit of chukar on the opener.....

Welcome to the SCH. That's a good looking dog. I'm 100% invested in deer season right now. But will be focused on upland soon. I have a new pup that I'm training, so I'm looking forward to it.
Also 2 is better then none

Good looking pup is it a female or male? I didn't get out but I am an avid quail hunter. Problem is deer opens for me this weekend and with four kids I am not going to push my luck on days out hunting until I bag my buck. I already have 4 days planned for next week. Happy wife happy life. I do have a couple mountain quail coveys that I cant wait to hunt. My Weim is a year old now and birdie as heck. Excited to hunt with her this year nothing like upland over the back of a bird dog.

Thanks guys! She is a 4 year old female GSP I've shot just over 140 quail over her and she has become one heck of birddog

Great looking dog looks just like by 2 yr old. Me and the family have been almost only upland hunters for years this is our first deer season so it's also the first season we have missed quail opener but we haven't seen much anyway. This weekend will be a hog/duck weekend.
