Quail

I haven't had time since Hunting.
Glad to hear good reports.
I hoping for more rain.
We are not out of the woods yet.
More rain equal more feed.
Greener pastures and seed.

Beautiful dog. Two birds is a success this season. Is there another dog with a brown tail or did you smoke a cougar too?
Ja ja. It's the other one, they don't point, they don't retrieve and they now have PTSD both of them, every time I shoot I have to look for the bird20181125_160446.jpg20181125_160446.jpg20181125_160446.jpg first then look for the dogs because they run away from me. But they sure look better than me on a picture.

must be a couple of good dogs.... all the quail I've seen around my area have been in the local yards around the edge of town

I am always so happy when I see pictures and they are NOT taken in my secret spot.

Great Picture! I usually drive to Blythe area for quail I don't know of any good local spots in my area. Anybody have some ideas of good areas around Yucaipa? (Obviously not your secret spots) My son just got his hunters safety done for a Christmas gift and want to take him on his first hunt and would love to get him some shots. This is my first forum I joined and look forward to being apart of it.
