Been seeing lots of quail since the rain. Hope every one else is seeing them and hitting them. I shoot at them, but miss them. Lol

I haven't had time since Hunting.

Went out this morning for a couple of hours. Found a nice covey but could only bag one. I know, get a dog!
His shot glasses are upside down. Drunk ass bird.
I found a big covy hunting D16 but haven't been back to the area since.
I've found a few coveys but they're hard to hit.

Beautiful dog. Two birds is a success this season. Is there another dog with a brown tail or did you smoke a cougar too?
Ja ja. It's the other one, they don't point, they don't retrieve and they now have PTSD both of them, every time I shoot I have to look for the bird
first then look for the dogs because they run away from me. But they sure look better than me on a picture.
Great Picture! I usually drive to Blythe area for quail I don't know of any good local spots in my area. Anybody have some ideas of good areas around Yucaipa? (Obviously not your secret spots) My son just got his hunters safety done for a Christmas gift and want to take him on his first hunt and would love to get him some shots. This is my first forum I joined and look forward to being apart of it.
