We get a fair amount of wildlife that comes through our property. Couple of days ago, this red tail fox came in to successfully hunt a vole (mouse like rodent that burrows in the snow in the winter). We’ve only got 6-12” of snow left so now easy hunting for the fox. While the coyotes mimic this hunting style I think the fox are better at it. The fox will listen carefully for the location of the vole then do an acrobatic jump to throw their snout in the prime location in the snow. The video clip was cool but I couldn’t figure out how to post.
