Sac Waterfowl Hunt

We are on the plane getting ready to take off for Sac. It was supposed to be a rice field goose hunt but the geese are not in the fields yet. We are gonna hunt heated pit blinds tomorrow for ducks and geese over water instead. Should be a fun shoot and then we are flying home tomorrow night. As hard as I tried to make him a deer slayer the 11yo is a ducker and he is pumped to kill some ducks and geese with #2s out of his little 20ga. Stay tuned there will be blood.
Got at @HATCHET1 double wide beat tonight staying at a cushy Indian Casino. Steak house dinner this ducking thing ain’t so bad.

Drove through Sacto a couple of weeks ago and saw plenty of geese from the Freeway. Hope you nail some!

Wasn’t the best hunt not the fault of the guide at all end up With 10 ducks and a snow. Hunted in pit blinds over 2600 decoys. Great day boarding the plane in a few minutes. The kids a ducker he can put three shells in the air faster then I can say duck. Had a blast we will be doing this again.

Dang Drew....That's a hell of a set and a great pit...I'm guessing he won't have a problem pulling the trigger on a big gobbler this spring...lol

He was telling us all about how he is gonna shoot a gobbler this spring. Probably going to southern Utah to try our luck. Of course we will put in for the youth hunts in SD.

I was getting ready for work this morning around 5am and I heard the kid call out in his sleep “crush em!!!”
I’m doomed. Already considering calling off my AZ archery hunt and going to the river instead.
