San Jacinto Dove Info

Spoke to Tom Trakes today and he told me that the entire wildlife area will be opened to dove hunting from Thursday, September 1st until Sunday, September 4th. After that you can only hunt dove on SJ in then upland areas. Tom also wanted me to remind people that its UNLEADED ONLY on all state wildlife areas this year so no lead shot this time out. Also, don't forget to get your 2016/17 license (if you haven't already done it) with upland endorsement if you're planning on coming out.

Thanks for sharing. I've never been to San Jacinto on opening day let alone opening weekend. I usually will do a couple days there's towards the end of the season.
