Today was the first day Spenceville opened to the public this spring and hunted it with my buddy. Heard a few different birds gobblin on the roost, about 8 am got on same ridge as this bird and some soft calling along with the silent treatment was more than he could handle. Gave my buddy the green light to shoot if only one came in and he made an awesome 37 yard shot between two trees, 18lb just under a 9" beard and 3/4' spurs!!
