Just because I'm nosey, does anybody know what happened to that "other" website with the rotund owner who seemed to like banning people? Even though I was banned from there millennium ago, I still check it once in a while, just out of curiosity. It just doesn't come up anymore.
 
I have no idea what happened over there, but his hugeness was an innovator...It was one of the 1st hunting & fishing forums as I recall.......... :clap:

ps...Even I got the boot once................:joy:
 
That other site, lol. He gave me the boot for quoting him, if you can believe that. But that "other site" is no loss to anyone. It's demise was self inflicted.

When you deal with the public you need to be tolerant, understanding, amiable, social. He didn't check any of the boxes.
 
It just shut down without warning. I was on the Friday before is disappeared, tried signing on the following Monday and it was gone. There were still a few good people on, but new info was getting less and less, mostly picking up around April. Oh well.
