Anyone around have a blood dog? A buddy of mine shot a buck. We have tracked it for a ways but we lost blood and tracks. I’ve heard of people around offering to help so figured I would give it a try.

Good Luck, them guys mentioned above can get the job done.
 
get on your hands and knees find blood. Have your buddy stand at the blood crawl until you find the next blood have him stand there keep doing this until you find the deer. Me and @Bonejour did this for 2 miles in NM this year it works.
If you lose the trail have your friend stand at the blood while you circle around looking for blood in a broader area. Also use onx to pin blood. Don't give up.

Nice talking to you....Looks like a forward hit with some lung....Find the last blood spot and head down hill....Sounds like the thick stuff....Bet he's within a few 100 yds of your last blood.....Good luck & wish I could be there.

Get the dog dude...them bucks are way smarter than a human..post him when you find um.
 
anyone know the shelf life of a deer, meaning when does the meat go bad when not recovered ? I'm asking all these dumb questions because I've yet
to get a deer.
