Tuff quail hunting

Daughter & nephew were down for Thanksgiving, they wanted to go chase some quail. Found a couple of small covers only managed one bird. Man those little birds are fast and tricky, holding tight then busting the opposite direction behind you. Did pickup a forky shed and a screw in choke for anyone that may have lost one.

The choke tube is a nice touch, Stevo…..Quail are tuff to hit & find.

Tough birds.. with this few quail around they might be the educated ones left. Not my choke tube.

At least you guys got one. Tough season, most coveys I've found are very small. I almost feel bad even killing any this season.
