Turkey Hunts I have Known

With just a few weeks to go, I thought I post a few pix of friends and myself on some of my most memorable turkey hunts (actually they all are)......... ;D

1......Spurless gobbler

2......Tanner with his 2nd turkey.....32 jakes came in (2007)

3......Tanner & Josh with Tanner's 11 1/2" monster.

4......Josh with great bird.....17 jakes came in with this big tom.

5......Eddie with his 1st turkey....This guy gobbled for an hour before he committed. He looped around us and came into me as I was calling behind Eddie......Eddie shot him about 15 yds to my left.

6......Turkey hunt with Michael Waddell......When he was given the choice of bow or gun. He went with gun....."I like I'm dead on the spot"......lol

7......Roberts 1st turkey......Love the excitement of that 1st gobbler going down.

8......Dr. Jack & Ed Guiles' 1st turkeys......Good video of the 9 jakes coming in.

9......1st gobbler over the then new DSD decoys (2009)

10.....Jordan with his 1st turkey.....Missed a big boy earlier.....Surprising how easy it is to miss these guys.

Those hunts are very special......I had the pleasure of taking out a Wounded Warrior a couple years back......I was so damn excited for him when I saw the bird go down......We both let out a yell.

I like turkey's here's A few I have called in. Two times I've called and triples for me and my friends on public land but I can't find those pictures. Technically that top birds at Sutherland I'm not sure if that counts as public land

Funny you say that Steve. Dave has been wearing the same ol gear for 20 plus years. And my dad still goes out in blue jeans and red flannel shirt. It just goes show you that we don't really need all this fancy gear to get it done. I myself believe that I need all new bitchen stuff but part of that is my love for buying new gear every chance I get. Wifey thinks I might sick. ;D
