UT MD follow along

Headed to UT for the 16yo's deer tag. I am just a passenger and guide on this one. Weather is high 70s without a cloud in site for the next week. Season starts Wednesday we will be there this afternoon to scout for a few days. If we can find him we can kill him. Big glass and great tripods will be clutch on this one.

Set up basecamp 4 miles from the truck it is hot. No deer spotted yet. We will find them.

Had 3 bucks under 300yds today opening morning. Biggest was a small 3x with a major front right limp likely from archery or muzzy season.

Had to pull the kids finger off the trigger. He is blood thirsty. We will find a bigger deer. Or we will shoot a fork on the last day.

5 miles deep hot as balls you basically get 1 hour in the morning and evening. This is going to be fun.

had this 16'er at 150yds below us for like 20 minutes. Questioning my sanity this place looks amazing. Probably gonna pack out in the AM. Season ends Sunday.

8 does this morning. We are gonna pack out in a couple hours and get out of the nursery. The kid has to do a 90 minute exam starlink makes homeschool hunting great.

Baby steps brother....the time is near..just drop the boy off..tell him you will meet him on the road with the truck...and he better be coming out heavy..this is a tactic I've used for decades ...it works. Post him when he dumps him...I am en route for the D zone opener tommorow...already have the CA rash appearing...uggh
