Curious how many ppl found out their waders leaked?
I personally had some rogers breathables with a inner liner.
Got 2 seasons out of them. Took 3 yrs off. And come to find out they leaked from the knee down on both legs. Ugh.
So I bought some cheapie pair of neoprenes from tidwe fer 144 bucks. Wuta deal.
I gotta say they look pretty impressive. Thick material with a belt and shell holders. A zip in phone pocket. And a repair kit.wth. mailed to my house in 3 days. Prolly not as comfortable as breathables ,but if I get a couple seasons outta them and stay dry. I may upgrade to their cool dood ones.

I mean for how cheap the tidwe stuff is, it’s better than you’d expect at that price point. My waders have made it through several seasons but I also don’t use them super often

Mac,

Staying dry is a relative term...I would rather be wet than sweating in a pair of neo's...And that includes cold weather (which we don't have a lot of in SoCal)............:sun:

I was a given a pair of Sitka waders 4 or 5 years back for Christmas...Still just as dry as the day I got them...2 years ago, I had a leak at the front zipper while fishing...Sent them back (2 week turnaround) and they have been perfect ever since.............

I bought some zippered Tidewe waders for fishing last summer...So far, so good...............;)

ps....Zippered waders are the only way to GO....Literally...............:joy:

ePTFE membranes are a forever chemical but not a forever fabric. So your breathable waders have a life span just like your boots do. Ever have a great pair of boots go from water proof to NOT so much. Cyclical movement

I Fucking love my HnD waders they make a bit inseam for us full size people and so far are staying water proof and comfy. Do not be scared to patch a eptfe liner. the patch kits work great and hold up

The price point is pretty good for the zippered breathables ($549.00)....Might try them, if the Sitka's ever give out....Although, I think they have a lifetime guarantee.......;)
