I have the Knight and Hale switch blade and it's a pain in the ass. So I'm looking for a new one this year.

I have a slate and reed that the turkeys love but I need a better box call.

What has worked for you?

Mark,

The absolute best box calls are made right here in San Diego Co...Flydown Custom Calls in Fallbrook...The single sided box call that Josh makes is unbelievably good...It has the high volume needed in big country like Utah, Montana, and New Mexico...Yet, it can make the light Kee Kee and run into solid yelps...It also features the groove in the box to help with cutting........

Do you use it?
Is it your #1 box call over many others for many years?

That's what I'm looking for. Not to say Josh is not there but......I had one in the 80's but they don't make them anymore like they use too.
The lynch "World Camp" is not the same.....

The original single sided Lynch call was great, but doesn't hold a candle to Josh' single sider...

ps...This week-end at the youth pheasant hunt, I had about 6 different brands of box calls for the kids...When I broke out Josh' box, folks with zero knowledge of turkey calls, could hear and tell the difference...Even my beloved single sided Primos Box Cutter isn't as good...All I use these days when it comes to box calls.
