I was wondering who shoots/hunts with a traditional rile rather than an inline? I shoot with a more traditional .50 Hawken PRB.

When I get my loader I’ll go to it for sureHave you ever been to the monthly shoot at Escondido Fish & Game?

There are different classes but they are all black powder and no inlines, sorry. The classes are pistol, open class (Flintlock or percussion), master class (flintlock or percussion) and cartridge (Think Sharps 45/70). Currently open to members and guests only. However, as soon as Covid restrictions are lifted it will be open to the public again. So open up your gun safe and pull out that dusty old black powder rifle. Can you shoot inline muzzleloaders at this shoot? Is there different classes?
This is a great example of an in line muzzleloader. They are not used at this particular shoot. https://www.hunter-ed.com/muzzleloader/studyGuide/In-Line-Muzzleloader/222099_88844/

So that's what it costs to get into MZ? I need to stop looking at $1K+ bow setups and look into this insteadYou can never have too many MZ. I saw a Thompson Hawken .54 for sale last weekend for $300.
